Hatch is a social networking app that allows you to create and join plans in real life. The project worked by curating your social circle, allowing you to blast events to a select friend list. Plans could be as casual as a “movie night,” or even a formal event with with a venue and capacity limit.

Problem:
How do we reconnect, in a world where connectivity shouldn’t be an issue? Apps and websites are designed to keep you on them, and keep you connected. But being connected to your phone doesn’t meen you’re connected to people.

Action:
I led the design vision and user experience of an app designed to keep you off it. With the exception of curating your friends into lists, it’s designed to gather your friends in real life. Hatch’d plans can be as casual as a “movie night,” or even a formal event with with a venue and capacity limit.
